Our favorite hotels
There are over 1,000 hotels and guesthouses in Siem Reap, and we certainly haven’t seen them all. But, we’ve picked out some favorites, and we’re calling them the best of Siem Reap.
Why are they the best?
Central, safe location near restaurants and markets
Comfortable and well decorated rooms
Excellent restaurant
Relaxing swimming pool
Good price for the quality
Tip:
The best hotels in Siem Reap are not the cheapest 0r the most expensive.
We like the experience of a boutique hotel. Boutique hotels offer the best value and typically offer more local character. They are often tucked away in a quiet neighborhood like a pleasant oasis. After taking a tour of the temples it’s fun to chill by the pool with a cold drink before taking a tuk-tuk to the market or restaurant.
Best of…
The Mane Village Suites
One of our all-time favorite boutique hotels. It’s all about the garden pool. This is such a luxurious, quiet place.
The restaurant is also by the pool. You’ll love the breakfast, an elegant little buffet to start your sightseeing day.
The Oasis Harbor
The name says it all. On a quiet street away from the hub-bub of the city, this boutique hotel is a quiet luxurious space to relax by the pool. The restaurant serves Khmer and Western dishes. Try the club sandwich.
Residence Indochine d’Angkor
Boutique Indochine d’Angkor
A cute and festive boutique hotel.
What really stands out about this hotel is the rooftop view of Siem Reap.
Yasodhurapura Residence
So elegant.
Rich, ornate furniture decorates the hallways of this hotel. The pool is a sheltered space for relaxation.
Yet it’s so close to downtown Siem Reap. You can hail a tuk-tuk on the street outside the hotel and cruise to the central market in a couple of minutes.
Hari Residence and Spa
Wow, the roof-top pool.
This hotel has a terrific party pool.
And a great view of Siem Reap from the rooftop.
Le Grand Indochine
This is a new luxury hotel in downtown Siem Reap.
The chef from Belgium serves elegant meals in the dining room.
J7 Angkor
This is another new luxury hotel in the heart of downtown Siem Reap. Near restaurants and night life
The spectacular feature of this hotel is the garden pool in the center of the hotel, surrounded on all sides by balconies.
Royal Crown
This is our favorite luxury hotel.
Yes, you will spend a little more, but it may be worth it for the luxurious experience.
And the extravagant breakfast buffet.
A hidden gem on a street near downtown Siem Reap. We like this small boutique hotel because of the feel of being near everything but away from everything.
It has a cute restaurant with a small but sumptuous breakfast buffet.
